Mr. Anthony S. VanNoy, Managing Partner
Anthony S. VanNoy, educated at Ball State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Administration and Public Law and the University of Dayton where he earned a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence, is an accomplished civil and criminal trial attorney with practice emphasis in the areas of catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. In his 15 years of practice, VanNoy has made a significant mark in his professional career having served as legal counsel in several high profile cases which afforded him national recognition via television interviews on NBC’s Dateline and ABC’s Good Morning America.
In a world of ever changing rules and regulations, VanNoy keeps abreast of new developments in the field as a member of professional organizations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; National Bar Association; Ohio State Bar Association; as well as the Dayton Bar Association and the DBA’s Certified Grievance Committee. VanNoy has been asked to serve on the Committee to appoint the new Federal Public Defender, as well as continuing his service on the Southern District of Ohio Bar Examination Committee for the United States District Court. He also holds licensure with the State of Ohio and United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
In the fall of 2006, VanNoy started a new chapter in his career by becoming an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Law, guiding students through the complex arena which is today’s law practice, VanNoy gives these up-and-coming attorneys insight from a current practitioner’s viewpoint.
In his free time, VanNoy serves as a board member providing legal guidance to non-profit organizations, namely, the National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families; Rays of Hope; Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc., and Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. Mr. VanNoy serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Collection Consultants, LLC. This corporation, founded in 2006, is a debt collection entity providing insights to clients concerning asset location and recovery as well as debt collection practices and procedure.
